We see pilgrimage as a powerful gateway to slow down and tap into other ways of knowing and seeing the world.
As we move, we become present to all around us and all within us. With every step, we are activating and blending together the wisdom of our hearts, minds, bodies and the land we walk.
Time takes on a different dimension. Inner and outer landscapes mirror each other. Movement stirs a remembering. The land welcomes us back and offers us her ancestral, sacred wisdom.

Timeless wisdom for our times

The rich legacy of this 12th-century mystic, mover and shaker is more alive than ever. She was a prophetess, poet, healer, composer and herbalist. A woman who followed her inner guidance and was unapologetically herself. She was enchanted with the natural world and embodied a deep connection with the web of life, which earned her the title of “spiritual mother of eco-feminism”.
In these in-between times - where the old is unravelling and the new is emerging - her mystical revolutionary teachings speak to many people who feel the need to return to their inner source and creative life force, as a foundation for the change they want to bring into the world.
The 135-kilometre pilgrimage trail (which only opened in 2019) begins in Idar-Oberstein and leads past the most important places in Hildegard's life. We will end our pilgrimage with magical celebrations in her honour in her monastery on 17th September, her feast day.

You are invited on a journey through the sacred land of Mary Magdalene in France where caves, forests and springs are brimming with her deep feminine sacred wisdom.
We will trace the footsteps of Mary Magdalene through the Sainte Baume massif and connect with her power and guidance in the sacred sites of the Cathar country.
This pilgrimage is for you if you are looking to reclaim a part of yourself which you feel has been suppressed and silenced by the system we live in. As we step into the footsteps of Mary Magdalene she supports us in stepping into our feminine ways of knowing: to remember our innate creative power, to celebrate our intuition, to act from our inner source, to turn our own suppression wounds into powerful medicine for collective healing.

In line with the pilgrimage spirit, our intention is to keep the costs to a minimum. We share the costs of (simple but comfortable) accommodation, food and transport as a group. For now, compensation for guides and spaceholders is donation-based.
